Our Core Values
Gospel Centrality
The gospel of Jesus Christ is central to everything we do. Being centered on the gospel means that we are committed to the Bible as the final authority in our church and in the lives of our people. We believe that the gospel is what changes lives, and so we value deeply the truth of the gospel.
Sacrificial Love
Sacrificial love takes putting the needs of others before yourself. It’s not easy, but sacrificial love is a response to the sacrifice Jesus made for us to be right with God. We value this as something we have received and something that we can’t help but show to others.
Authentic Community
God created us to be in community with other people. Authentic, intentional relationships do not come by accident. And so, it is no accident that we take the lead of Jesus, who invites us into relationship with Him through what He’s done for us. Authentic community is real, deep community where strangers become friends and friends become family.
Kingdom Multiplication
We are committed to multiplying and replicating what God has given us in the gospel. Kingdom multiplication requires us to do hard and uncomfortable things like sharing our faith in Christ with others, but it is necessary so that what has come to us in relationship with Jesus will continue on to others. We are committed to taking part in multiplying the kingdom of God so that others will continue to come to know Jesus until He returns.
Intentional Honor
We live in a culture that devalues and tears people down. On the contrary, the Bible tells us that all people are made in the image of God, and so we are committed to treat people with honor and value. We show honor to people by assuming the best in them and speaking words of encouragement to them because we understand that it is not our right to tear down and devalue those whom God has placed His own value on.
